Since its humble beginnings in 1994, on the banks of the Waimata river in Gisborne, NZ, Waimata Cheese has dedicated years of experience and hard work to the art of producing fine cheeses.
Created by husband and wife duo, Rick and Carol Thorpe, the couple’s children now work side by side with their parents and are dedicated to continuing this legacy for another 25 years and beyond.
